Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR)

nic-eic

Homeowners or those who own a property which is rented should ensure the electrical installations within their property are legally compliant with the Building Regulations.

Applicable to building work in England and Wales, the Building Regulations set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the health and safety of people in or around the buildings in question. In Scotland, equivalent regulations apply through the Building (Scotland) Act 2003.

The electrical regulations came about as a result of the number of deaths and accidents in and around the home. Please go to the electrical safety council website for more information on www.electricalsafetycouncil.org.uk

We carry out a free electrical visual inspections and advise you of any remedial work that may need to be carried out.

Issuance of a Landlords Electrical Safety Certificate costs £165.00. Repeat certificates cost only £45.00
